WebTo volunteer as a mentor or to obtain more information, please contact the Horizon Scholars-TSIC Program, at 407-582-3008 or email us. Mentoring sessions take place twice per month and range from 30-45 minutes in length. Sessions occur at a school near your home or workplace during school hours. Virtual mentoring is also available afterschool. WebIf selected, they will earn a Florida Prepaid Scholarship by fulfilling a contractual obligation to attend school regularly, maintain at least a "C" in all classes, study for tests, complete homework assignments and remain crime and drug free. To be eligible for a TSIC Scholarship students must be on their school's approved free/reduced lunch list.
