Webb28 maj 2013 · The Model T has a 51 ohm 5 watt plate resistor. I tested it at full power into a dummy load in order to obtain some info for this inquiry. At full power using a 440hz … Webb11 nov. 2024 · The vapor-deposition process used to create the resistors was commonly called "cracked carbon" because a hydrocarbon gas (aka "carbon"), typically methane or similar, was decomposed (aka "cracked") at 1,000° C, liberating atomic carbon which was then more-or-less evenly deposited on a substrate. Because the film is more uniform it is …

Webb3 sep. 2024 · start with the plate voltage being equal to the voltage across the plate resistor. Which gives a 1/1 ratio. Still does not give an indication whether it should be … Webb16 feb. 2005 · It only takes 3mA of current to drop 300v across a 100K plate resistor. With two gain stages connected to a shared 100K plate resistor, they would draw only 1·5mA each to drop 300v. And for any point along the voltage swing they would be drawing only half the current that a single gain stage would draw with a 100K plate resistor.
Webb22 feb. 2024 · Why do you use a plate resistor in an amplifier? Resistor distortion causes harmonics which can be pleasant to the ear. When used in the right areas of the amp, this “problem” can be used to your advantage. By utilizing carbon-comps. as plate resistors on the output where the voltage is high, the second harmonic coloring is maximized. WebbTo use the 12AX7 calculator, which is designed for a single triode, we double the plate load resistor value to 300kΩ. According to the calculator, 3kΩ for cathode resistor RK creates a DC grid bias of -1.5V and an idle plate current of 0.5mA. This is for a single triode. For two parallel triodes, the total plate current is 1mA, so the cathode ...
WebbThe 56k feedback resistor is correct for a speaker output of 8 ohm and will supply a light level of feedback. You can increase the feedback by reducing the feedback resistor value. A 39k resistor will increase the feedback by 41% and a 20k resistor will give you a Marshall JTM45 2.8 times more feedback. Webb23 jan. 2024 · Jan 20, 2024 #1 After reviewing some schematics of Friedman amps, I keep finding this off of V1a tube plate resistor, rather the just a 330k plate, he uses a 220k and 100k in series with a partial 500p bypass capacitor over the 100k. Why not just use one resistor and cap instead of 2 resistors?
