WebIt's possible to cross the bearing straight in winter. It's been done by two Americans I believe. It took 15 days to go 56 miles on foot. That's 3.7 miles per day if they did it that way. It could of been 10+ miles per day if you want to even it out. This was back in 2015 and they were immediately deported by the Russians.
