WebOne of the most widely used assessments of infants and toddlers, the BAYLEY-III measures the major areas of development including cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning. This book provides an introduction into use of the BAYLEY-III in each of these five areas. WebApplicable to children aged 1 month to 42 months, the Bayley-III uses a series of play tasks and parent report questionnaires to assess the child’s level of functioning across various developmental domains, including cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional development and adaptive behaviour.

Web31 Oct 2024 · Using the Bayley-III scales, we assessed 120 preterm infants who were referred for evaluation of neurodevelopmental performance. We subdivided them into an extremely preterm group (n=18) and a very/moderate to late preterm group (n=102). Bayley-III mean scores and the rate of infants showing a delay were compared for both groups.
